Overview

This website is operated by Rare Encounter TCG. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Rare Encounter TCG.

By visiting our website and/or purchasing something from us, you agree to these Terms of Service and any policies referenced on our website.

Online Store

You must not use our products or services for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose, nor may you use the website in a way that violates applicable laws.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, payment issues, pricing or inventory errors, or other circumstances that prevent us from fulfilling the order. If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will provide an appropriate refund.

Products and Trading Cards

We make reasonable efforts to accurately describe and display our products.

Individual trading cards may vary in condition. The condition stated in the product listing forms part of the product description. Where photographs of the actual card are provided, customers should review those photographs before purchasing.

Raw or ungraded trading cards are not guaranteed to receive any particular grade from PSA, CGC, Beckett or any other third-party grading service. Any opinion or description regarding card condition does not constitute a guarantee of a future grading result.

Prices and Availability

All prices displayed on our Australian store are in Australian dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.

Prices and product availability may change without notice. Trading cards and collectibles can fluctuate in market value. A change in the market value of an item after an order has been placed does not, by itself, provide a right to cancel or return an order.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing, product or inventory errors. If an error affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you where appropriate and provide any remedy required by law.

Orders

Submission of an order does not guarantee acceptance or availability of an item.

We may limit or cancel quantities purchased where reasonably necessary, including where we reasonably believe an order is fraudulent, intended for unauthorised resale, affected by an inventory error, or otherwise contrary to these Terms.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase, billing and shipping information when placing an order.

Payments

Payment must be successfully authorised using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Your use of those payment methods may also be subject to the provider's applicable terms and privacy practices.

Shipping

Orders are shipped to the delivery address supplied during checkout. Customers are responsible for ensuring their delivery information is accurate and complete before submitting an order.

Shipping options, charges and estimated delivery timeframes are displayed at checkout where applicable. Delivery estimates are estimates only and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Returns, refunds and exchanges are handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable Australian Consumer Law.

Third-party names, trademarks, product names, card artwork and other intellectual property displayed in connection with products remain the property of their respective owners.

Rare Encounter TCG is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise officially associated with The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., PSA, CGC, Beckett, or other third-party brands unless expressly stated.

Third-Party Services

Our website may use or link to third-party services, including payment, shipping, ecommerce, analytics and other service providers.

We are not responsible for third-party websites or services outside our reasonable control. Your use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

Prohibited Use

You must not misuse our website, attempt to interfere with its security or operation, submit fraudulent information, use automated systems in a manner that unreasonably disrupts the website, or use the website for unlawful purposes.
